On Friday Night, July 29th 2011, a California boy named Jared Donnely ”Harley” took his own life. Reports say that he had been running a popular blog on the website ‘Tumblr’, trying to win a contest. The boy was then flooded with over 2,000 messages and posts bullying the young boy commenting on his sexual orientation and weight among other things.
“This has taken a huge toll on our family,” States the California boy’s mother. “And we’re doing the best we can to bring Jared to justice.”
The boy’s body is being held by his family, and the funeral is scheduled for Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Park.
“Someone told him to go hang himself, and I don’t really know who that was,” Jake Garner, a close friend of Jared’s had said. “But he was getting bullied by some people, because there were people talking about him and I guess he just didn’t like being hated.”
Please help spread the message of cyberbullying and how it can be stopped. A horrible crime had just been committed, and they’re getting away with it.

Justice for Jared.
This what I mean with cyberbullying, its so sickening that people would send so much hate and tell someone to kill themselves just because their insecure with themselves. Love you Jared. I honestly wish I saw the hate on my dash. I definitely would have tryed to help before this happened. You’ll be missed. <3 :’(
